My name is Brighton, and I am a Tennessee native. I am twenty-three and graduated college in May 2016 with two degrees: a B.S. in International Relations and a B.A. in Spanish. I love to travel, and I love to learn. These passions, I feel fuel each other. The more I travel, the more I want to learn about where I’ve been; and the more I learn, the more I want to go see what I’ve learned about. My life has been a battle to overcome. My weaknesses are many, but each time, the Lord has been faithful to show me that His power is made perfect in me; it is nothing I can do in myself. As I was in my final year of undergrad, I had no clue what God had for me. I thought I had to have everything put together and to move on to being a Level 4 adult. Slowly, I realized that my plans and ideas were limiting me. God has blessed me with so many characteristics that make me a little strange in all groups. I don’t quite fit in anywhere, but I am beginning to see the strengths in these “quirks.” I don’t know where I’m heading, but I’m sure the Lord is going before me, and that is where my confidence is.
